Xylem presents new packaging design on wholesaler shelves in EMEA
As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainable practices, global water technology company Xylem has redesigned the product packaging for three of its flagship brands to be more environmentally friendly and easily recognizable to customers as a Xylem product.
Beginning in September, a wide range of products carrying the Flygt, Goulds Water Technology and Lowara brands will be sold in new, Xylem blue boxes across Europe and the Middle East.
“Redesigning our packaging helps make our brands more visible and memorable to our customers,” said Martin Kunz, General Manager, Xylem Applied Water Systems EMEA. “Adopting the Xylem blue color unifies our brands and, as a result, improves the purchasing experience for customers.”
Additionally, highlighting the importance Xylem places on environmental stewardship, the new packaging is recyclable and eco-friendly. All Xylem production facilities are certified by DNV GL, further demonstrating the company’s focus on sustainability across all its processes, throughout the production chain, and up to the finished product.
“This project further expands our focus on reducing waste and shows that we are helping to solve water, even in our manufacturing processes,” said Carla Lotto, Marketing Communications Specialist, Xylem AWS EMEA. “These new boxes are produced using green materials and recyclable.”
Along with the new graphic design, a single, detailed product label describes the content of the packaging, providing the image of the pump, name, description, origin, technical characteristics, dimensions and a link to find more information online, accessible from any internet-connected device. This new labeling increases production efficiency by combining information that’s currently provided through multiple labels onto only one label.
Point of Sale display solutions for the wholesaler channel will be available in two sizes – small (1×2 m) and large (2×2 m). The displays include holders for flyers and promotional materials, and are designed to house multiple combinations of products.
